Reading Ready is an early literacy reading intervention designed to support emergent reader in lifting off into word reading and spelling. The program builds a striving reader's phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling skills using multimodal activities and decodable books. The program includes 10 units that focus on exactly what emerging readers need to learn how to decode and encode words.

READING GO!

Reading Go is an elementary literacy intervention for striving readers. The program brings together some of the best instructional practices from the field of reading science into a highly engaging, multimodal session that provides students with explicit and systematic instruction to support their foundational reading skills.


Every Reading Go lesson provides a student with the opportunity to work on their skills related to all five of the essential components of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.



SCIENCE OF READING
10-HOUR MICROCREDENTIAL

In partnership with New York City Public Schools, Heckscher Foundation for Children, and The Benedict Silverman Foundation, The Reading Institute (TRI) has launched a Science of Reading 10-hour microcredential. This course was authored by Dr. Katie Pace Miles, professor at Brooklyn College, and the micro features engaging, application-based content designed to help educators connect academic knowledge on the science of reading to classroom application.

This course is organized into ten modules. Each module contains video content that blends subject matter expertise with example instructional practices from real classrooms. Modules also contain engaging checks for understanding and supplemental resources to extend learning.
