UNIVERSITIES

TRI’s university tutoring model impacts both future teachers and striving readers. This high-impact tutoring model can be used to fulfill fieldwork or clinical coursework, and it can be used as Federal Work Study placement and/or as a part-time paid employment opportunity for pre-service educators. TRI offers university partners a high-impact tutoring model including:

• Reading Ready and Reading Go materials and training for future educators.
• Implementation support to help university partners work within their local school communities to offer one-to-one and small group tutoring for K-2 students.

SCHOOLS & DISTRICTS

TRI partners with schools and districts to offer science of reading professional learning for teachers and high-dosage evidence-based interventions for K-2 students. We ensure educators have a shared knowledge based on literacy development and instruction through our Science of Reading microcredential course. We also train interventionists, reading specialists, teachers, and paraprofessionals in the Reading Ready and Reading Go programs.

COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS

We partner with community-based organizations and the parents/caregivers in their communities to ensure that community educators and caregivers have the resources they need to support early literacy development with intentional and joyful experiences. In partnership with community-based organizations, TRI provides access to curricular materials, and training in the Reading Ready Letter Knowledge Guide, Reading Ready Caregiver Guide, and Reading Ready Educator Guide.
